954 Fall Paddle Board Race League

September 5th kicks off the first race in what will be a 10 week fall race series. These races are designed for both competitive paddlers and non-competitive paddlers, with divisions for gender and paddle craft. Each race will last 30 – 55 minutes.

Power Hour Hot Yoga – Alaya Spa at The Bonaventure Resort

Power Hour is a strong and fast-paced Vinyasa class accompanied by fun and upbeat music offering a combination of dynamic movement, steady breathing, static strength, stability, core endurance, and flexibility all rolled up into a 60-minute flow. This sequence will take you through core strengthening exercises as well as more traditional yoga poses, sun salutations, and the occasional option for a handstand or arm and balancing poses. Free group run every Thursday. Start with a guided stretch with a #RunWestin Certified Personal Trainer before starting this 5K run or walk. Bodytek Fitness Pompano Grand Opening

Naked Feet 5K Fort Lauderdale Beach

This annual 5K takes place entirely in the sand. Feel the ocean breeze at your side as you run down the beach to the jetty at Port Everglades and back without having to worry about crossing streets or navigating tracks. Place awards are given to those who complete the distance “un-shod” (shoeless).

Tunnel to Towers Ft. Lauderdale 5K Run & Walk

The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers.  Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty!
