Swim Week 2019 has come and gone, and one of the most talked-about experiences – Nu Wave Swim – celebrated the end of Miami Swim Week with a multi-designer runway show & presentation on Sunday, July 14th. Headlining brands included Charmosa Swimwear, Revival, Red Carter, and Bleu Rod Beattie.
Beginning the evening with a runway show featuring two brands, Revival and Charmosa Swimwear, the collective gave the emerging designers a format to formally showcase their collections and attract new audiences.
Red Carter and Bleu Rod Beattie later presented their collections in the garden showcasing new styles, vibrant prints, silhouettes and detailing that flatter all body types.
On-site cocktails were provided by Bar Bevy while catering was provided by Drunken Dragon.
Nu Wave Swim was a new addition to Swim Week this year, founded by Miami’s World Red Eye Founder, Seth Browarnik and his partner, Michele Addison.
The Miami Beach Botanical Garden was transformed into the new epicenter of Swim Week in alignment with SwimShow, and guests were wowed with the high-energy fashion events, activities, and runway shows.
Designer brands such as Vitamin A, Tori Praver, Gottex, Revival, Red Carter, Bleu Rod Beattie, and Parke & Ronen presented their latest swimwear collections. Wellness activations took place each morning by The Sacred Space Miami and Barry’s Bootcamp, while a Fashion For Breakfast panel was hosted by Soho Beach House with designer panelists including Tori Praver, Amahlia Stevens, Red Carter, and Rod Beattie. Bar Bevy by GROOT Hospitality also took over the garden’s Banyan Room for a VIP experience.
