Nu Wave Swim is debuting a fresh new approach to Miami Swim Week that will make it a must-attend experience.

Miami’s World Red Eye Founder, Seth Browarnik and his partner, Michele Addison, approached SwimShow Executive Director Judy Stein, and suggested a high-end addition to SwimShow’s auxiliary happenings.

Nu Wave Swim will transform the Miami Beach Botanical Garden into the new epicenter of Swim Week, in alignment with SwimShow from July 11– 14, that will house a variety of wellness activations, runway shows, fashion presentations, cocktail parties, after-parties, and more.

“There is a huge opportunity for growth in our city so there is no better time than now to revitalize, reawaken, and reignite Swim Week, Miami’s most exciting week of the summer,” said Browarnik. “Nu Wave Swim will infuse new energy into Swim Week and will provide brands a hyper-targeted and relevant audience, while giving a focus to our local partners.”

Presenting their latest swimwear collections at Nu Wave Swim will be designer brands Tori Praver, Gottex, Revival, Red Carter, Bleu Rod Beattie, and Parke & Ronen. An emerging designer swim show will take place the final day that will include Revival and other brands to be announced.

Guests can look forward to the food and beverage offerings on-site, all led by celebrated chef James Beard and restauranteur Michael Schwartz.

Wellness activations by Sacred Space and Barry’s Bootcamp will be on-site, along with a Fashion For Breakfast panel co-produced by Soho Beach House, with designer panelists Tori Praver, Amahlia Stevens, Red Carter, and Rod Beattie.

Bar Bevy by GROOT Hospitality will be taking over the garden’s Banyan Room for a VIP lounge to heighten the experience.

Nu Wave Swim’s commitment to sustainability and ocean preservation will be strengthened by a plastic-free policy at the venue, and feature a collaboration with Facebook and Instagram to create custom content to promote and drive awareness to Miami Water Keeper, advocating for cleaner oceans.
