The On The Wings of Mantra world tour features artists that are considered rock stars within the yoga community. Together, their music teaches everyone that they too can sing and have peace with their inner spirituality.
This year’s concert will take place on Sunday, May 3 at 7 pm at the South Miami Dade Cultural Arts Center in Cutler Bay. This will be the 9th annual event.
“We are truly blessed to have them come back again this year,” says Hal Martin, founder of Stop, Breathe, and Smile. His nonprofit is a presenter for the On The Wings of Manta tour.
The evening is a combination of mantra, song, celebration, and meditation. Chant artists Deva Premal & Miten with Manose will provide the healing power of mantras and songs to center the audience in the hustle of daily life. The Temple Band will accompany them providing both gentle, slow rhythms, and high-energy dance music while everyone joins in the singing.
“Mantras are sound medicine. The medicine works for all of us, no matter what culture we’re from, we all disappear into the chant – whether we’re in London, Moscow, Miami, Tel Aviv, or Rishikesh – it always feels like this,” said Deva Premal.
Ticket prices range from $46 – $109. For more information and to purchase tickets, head to smdcac.org.
