The boutique aqua fitness studio emanates a European je-ne-sais-quoi from a distance. As soon as you walk in, you feel a sense of community, acceptance and chill-ness in the air. Displaying a chic minimalistic design, Element Aqua is the epitome of the aquatic fitness boom that is sweeping across Paris; Miami style.Owner Chiara de Luca, an Italian native, found water to be a very healing element in her life.“I had a very sad loss in my family,” said de Luca. “I was in the sea in Italy and went into the water and I immediately felt so supported. It was such a healing and powerful element.”After this awakening, she felt as if the element of water were following her everywhere she went. She joined an aqua fitness studio in France where she fell in love with the practice.

de Luca then moved to Miami and created Element Aqua, which satisfies two needs: the first, and most obvious, a unique boutique aqua fitness studio in the 305, and second, a gift for her baby daughter.“I want a healthy community she can look up to,” says de Luca.Element Aqua offers aqua cycling, fitness and a fusion of yoga, tai chi and Pilates. Element Aqua’s grand opening is slated for July 1st – for more information, visit http://www.elementaqua.com/.
