The City of Miami Beach has completed the long-awaited Phase II Middle Beach Recreational Corridor project.
This milestone marks the culmination of a continuous pedestrian path from South Pointe Park through 79 Street, accomplishing a beach walk that connects North, Middle and South Beach for the first time in the city’s history.
The beach walk is a popular walking and running path for many locals and tourists, with the the Atlantic Ocean to the East, and the row of hotels to the west.
This marks the second health & wellness improvement the city has made in as many weeks, with the recent unveiling of a fitness locker at Muscle Beach Miami on 9th and Ocean Drive at Lummus Park.
Phase III of the beach walk project is anticipated to begin this fall, which will eliminate the original walking path between 23 and 45 streets.
