SOL Yoga
SOL Yoga burst onto the scene in 2018, first opening its flagship location in Wynwood, and then later announcing an expansion to Fort Lauderdale. The stunning 2,200 square foot facility has attracted some of Miami’s most coveted Yoga instructors to teach in their heated space. We recommend dropping in for class with Dan Phalen.
TruFusion Coral Gables
TruFusion is anothernewcomer to the South Florida fitness scene that has quickly made aname for itself in the Coral Gables neighborhood. Offering Vinyasa, Yin, andAerial, TruFusion is another studio that offers both heated and non-heatedclasses. You can sweat it out in TruFusion’s 95-degree studio, or stretch it outin Yin room. A.Rodand J-Lo are known to drop in frequently.
Green Monkey
Once again makingour list is Green Monkey, which advocates the mantra of‘Live your Practice’. This is felt the moment you walk through the doors oftheir Miami Beach Coral Gables location. Green Monkey devotees rave about howwelcoming instructors are, making the studios feel like home.
OM Movement
Local favorite inCoconut Grove, OM Movement encourages consciousness inmotion through transformative yoga classes such as Aerial Yoga, Fluidus MethodYoga, which emphasizes precise postural alignment, and Handstands, Arm Balanceand Mobility. Encouraging for all levels, instructors are often praised by yogavirgins as a great space to learn the basics.
Casa Vinyasa
2018 was a great year forYogis in the 305. South Miami welcomed Casa Vinyasa to the neighborhood. OwnersMelissa Callahan and Lizzy Chiappy opened their heated space for seasonedyogis, athletes, beginners, weekend warriors and the yoga-curious. They offer awide range of classes from power Vinyasa to restorative flow, and private sessions.
Exhale
With locations inSouth Beach, Downtown Miami, and Aventura, Exhale has made our 2019 list. Strikea power pose, work on your core, restore and chill, or breathe deep in Exhale’sfour signature classes. It doesn’t hurt that Exhale’s locations are at some ofthe most beautiful hotel properties in the 305. We recommend dropping in for aclass with Jessica Schreiner on South Beach.
MAHAM Yoga
Centrally locatedin the bustle of South Beach is MAHAM Yoga. Tucked away on West Ave, MAHAM Yogais led by Skylar Hauswirth, where many famous celebrities, influencers, entrepreneurs,athletes and models all lay their mat down in the heated studio at MAHAM Yoga. Hip-hopyoga is certainly the can’t-miss class led by Hauswirth himself.
Wynwood Yoga
Located on thewestern edge of the neighborhood, Wynwood Yoga is another must-try in 2019. Therealways seems to be a class getting ready to start at Wynwood Yoga – from theirsignature Hot Power Yoga to Vinyasa and Yin.
Ahana Yoga
The Design District’sAhana Yoga is another studio that has attracted quite a bit of attention fromsome of the most prominent instructors in the area to teach and practice. AhanaYoga also offers teacher trainings, retreats, and an events schedule, tobolster their mission of building a connected fitness community.
Prana Yoga
Tucked away in Coral Gables is one of Miami’s longest running Yoga studios. This hidden gem known as Prana Yoga has been welcoming yogis in the 305 since 1999, with over 75 classes a week. All experience levels are welcome at this neighborhood favorite. Prana Yoga also offers meditation, events & workshops, and even massages.
