Fresh produce, artisan items, baked goods, art, coffee and more are coming to Surfside, starting Sunday, September 15, 2019, during the town’s first-ever Surfside Farmers Market.

The Surfside Farmers Market willtake place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday in the parking lot on the cornerof 95th Street and Collins Avenue, in the heart of Surfside’s Downtown District,just a block away from the beach.

The Surfside FarmersMarket is the brainchild of Javier Valmana, a Surfside resident whois passionate about all things local.

"Farmers markets not onlyprovide a shopping experience like no other, with local organic produce, foodand other interesting products," said Valmana. “The Surfside FarmersMarket also strives to contribute positively to the community, bringing furtherweekend excitement to the seaside town.”

Valmana is the owner of WaveyAcai Bowls, a pop-up company that sells fresh acai bowls throughout Miami, whichwill be present at the Surfside Farmers Market along with more than20 other local vendors. The diverse list of vendors includes BeCultured(tempeh), Baguette Plus (baked goods), Coco watt (natural fruit slushees), Mindof Art (artistic furniture and house decor), Cauliflower Bites, Soapciety(cosmetic products), Garden Element (plants), WithCoffee and more.
