UNKNWN Drops New Collection Celebrating the Miami Heat

WAs the NBA Playoffs continue, Miami-based lifestyle brand and concept store UNKNWN reveals its newest collection, a Miami Heat collection in collaboration with Mitchell & Ness. This Homecourt Collection is launched during the NBA’s historic 75th anniversary season and for the 2022 NBA Playoffs.

“Miami Heat fans use their distinct style to support their team unlike any other city," said Jaron Kanfer and Frankie Walker, Jr., UNKNWN co-founders. "This collection celebrates the team’s unforgettable past championships leading up to the 75th Anniversary of the NBA this year, and provides a design driven way to support the Heat during the current NBA 2022 Playoffs run kicking off right now."

"We worked on this collection throughout the season, inspired by the hard work of the Miami Heat organization leading to the current 2022 team making its way to the top seed in the East. We’re thrilled at being able to release this for the 2022 NBA Playoffs and provide an apparel collection to support this team," continued Kanfer and  Walker Jr.

The UNKNWN x Miami Heat collection pays homage to the team’s iconic past championship seasons. It includes drawstring track pants, a jacket, hoodie, shorts, t-shirts, a snapback hat and jersey.

The red, black and white pieces feature embroidery, UNKNWN branding, the Miami Heat logo and throwback to past NBA Finals seals and trophies. The jersey is fabricated in the same “satin” fabric used for the Heat’s 2006 jerseys - the year the team won its first NBA championship. Subtle crystals on the jersey and the t-shirts are a nod to the glamour of the Magic City.

The collection is available at prices ranging from $15 to $250 and can be found at UNKNWN.com, UNKNWN’s flagship location in Miami and the team store at FTX arena.

The UNKNWN flagship community courtyard in Miami is also sporting a new look, freshly painted in a new red, black and white palette to celebrate the UNKNWN collection release, NBA's 75th Anniversary, and the #1 seeded Miami Heat playoff run.
