We bet you've never heard of a pre-workout pill before! Psycho Sloth is the first-ever company in the US to introduce a four-ingredient pre-workout pill and they are based right here in the 305.
Miami natives Noah Doris and Byron D'Mello are Psycho Sloth co-founders and best friends ever since their middle school days at GW Carver. In high school, they were varsity rowers and their daily practices and workouts kick-started their passion for fitness and nutrition with the goal of winning races. While they went their separate ways in college, as recent graduates they have now continued their nutrition journey with the launch of Psycho Sloth.
Tired of brands with synthetic, unpronounceable ingredients, Psycho Sloth was invented with four highly-studied ingredients - beet root powder, green tea, electrolytes, and L-theanine. They partnered with expert nutritionists, tested the product for safety in third-party labs, and extracted in state-of-the-art facilities. The result is a safe, effective, and easy-to-swallow capsule.
“We were your typical gym-goers, not training for bodybuilding competitions but simply working to look and feel in shape," said Noah Doris, co-founder of Psycho Sloth. "We were surprised to learn that the only supplements on the market were tailored to the desires of hardcore bodybuilders - meaning extreme stimulants, synthetic ingredients and overall a lack of concern for side effects. We decided something needed to change. We partnered with nutrition experts and developed a simple yet effective four-ingredient solution that delivers the same energy boost, [as synthetic pre’s] without the jitters, crash or nausea."
With 0% synthetic ingredients or fillers, Psycho Sloth's vegan pre-workout pill differs greatly from what’s in the market and is tailored to the health-conscious fitness enthusiast. Expect jitter and crash-free physical and mental energy for a noticeable performance increase.
“Our mission is to give people the tools to reach their fitness goals while ensuring a healthy future," said Byron D’Mello, co-founder of Psycho Sloth. "Everything we consume directly affects our health for better or worse. This is precisely why we chose beet roots, electrolytes, green tea, and L-theanine as they are safe and extremely effective energy boosters. With every pre-workout pill you purchase, you are voting in favor of your long-term health and against brands who prioritize profit over people."

Schultz has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years as an athlete, marathon runner, trainer, brand ambassador, and Pilates studio owner. Lerin has been two years in the making, as Schultz would not release a product that she would not stand behind. In addition to being supportive for high intensity workouts, Lerin is also designed to be fashonable. With technological advances in fabric, this was an opportune time to produce a line that's comfortable, functional, and has a sleek minimalist design.
The collection includes sets with mesh inserts, strappy sports bras, different sleeve lengths, color blocks and varying styles of leggings, each designed to mix and match interchangeably.
Inspired by Schultz' German heritage, the name Lerin is derived from the word 'sportslerin,' which means female athlete in German. The best collaborations we see now at PARAISO seamlessly integrate partners into the event in new and innovative ways—such as designer partnerships, custom content, and on-site activations," said Natalija Dedic Stojanovic, Co-Founder and Creative Director of PARAISO.

“Miami Heat fans use their distinct style to support their team unlike any other city," said Jaron Kanfer and Frankie Walker, Jr., UNKNWN co-founders. "This collection celebrates the team’s unforgettable past championships leading up to the 75th Anniversary of the NBA this year, and provides a design driven way to support the Heat during the current NBA 2022 Playoffs run kicking off right now."

Planet Fitness, one of the largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers, is inviting high schoolers ages 14 – 19 to work out for free at any Planet Fitness location in South Florida and across the country from May 16 through August 31 as part of the High School Summer Pass initiative.
High School Summer Pass, formally known as Teen Summer Challenge, was the first program of its kind when it launched in 2019, and saw more than 900,000 teens sign-up and complete more than 5.5 million workouts over a three-and-a-half-month period.
"We are excited to invite teens all summer long into our clubs across Miami,” said Shannon Meyers, Vice President of Marketing at Grand Fitness. “High schoolers have been one of the groups most at risk resulting from the pandemic, and we encourage them to stay active in the Judgement Free Zone to better their mental and physical health, both this summer and well into the future.”
In addition to free in-club training, the certified trainers at Planet Fitness have also designed 15 trainer-led workout videos and 10 downloadable workouts just for high schoolers, across all fitness levels. This content will be available on the Planet Fitness App and at PlanetFitness.com/SummerPass starting May 16.
“As the leader in fitness, we believe we have a responsibility to provide a welcoming, safe, and Judgement Free environment for high school students to improve their physical and mental wellness, particularly given the challenges they have and continue to face in the wake of the pandemic,” said Chris Rondeau, Chief Executive Officer at Planet Fitness. “Our study found that nearly all (92 percent) high school students agreed that when they are regularly physically active, they feel much better mentally. Fitness is about feeling good, too, and our hope is that High School Summer Pass empowers teens to create life-long workout habits to help them succeed in every aspect of their lives.”
To further motivate high schoolers to make fitness a priority, all participants are automatically entered into The Planet Fitness High School Summer Pass Sweepstakes to be the Florida winner of a $500 scholarship, or the grand prize winner of a $5,000 scholarship at the end of the summer. These scholarships can be used for academic or athletic activities or programs.
