Miami Beach Continues with Fitness Upgrades at Flamingo Park

This week, the City of Miami Beach continued its commitment to expanding public fitness options through the park system by unveiling a wellness sculpture at Flamingo Park.

Valued at $37,000, the MyISLE Goliath state-of-the-art wellness sculpture was donated by Metalco Active USA, Inc., the same company that brought the popular wellness circuits at Muscle Beach South Beach.

With 11 fitness stations, the MyISLE Goliath is sure to attract Miami Beach and locals looking for accessible outdoor workouts, that will certainly find their way on social media, similar to the popularity of the Fitness Locker and MyEquilibria’s iconic “Tree," at Muscle Beach South Beach.

The City of Miami Beach has been busy upgrading the parks and community areas through the lens of health and wellness. Aside from the upgrades at Muscle Beach South Beach, the City of Miami Beach opened a fitness zone at Flamingo Park and completed its second phase of the Beach Walk Path update.

Public health and wellness upgrades aren't limited to Miami Beach. November 1st marks the one-year anniversary of the Underline groundbreaking - a project focused on revitalizing the 10-mile trail of land along Miami’s Metrorail. The public-private project is backed by Miami-Dade Parks and Miami-Dade Department of Transportation and Public Works.
